About My Documentary Work

I’m a capable and versatile Specialist Factual Producer, Director and Edit Producer with 20 years’ broadcast TV experience.

I have produced and directed programmes across a wide range of subject matters and genres, from travel to history and from science to current affairs.

I’ve organised and directed shoots from Namibia to Norway and from Iceland to India. I’ve interviewed leaders of industry, top scientists and historians, victims of crime and ordinary members of the public. I’ve filmed from helicopters and zip wires, down mines, in sensitive laboratories and on ancient archaeological sites.

Credits include Lost Treasures of Egypt and Lost Treasures of Ancient Greece (both National Geographic Channel)  When Whales Could Walk (PBS/NOVA and CBC), Ice Age Footprints (PBS/Nova), Lost Tombs of the Ancient Maya (Science Channel and Channel 4), Lost Pyramids of the Aztecs (Science Channel and Channel 4), and Unearthed: Rome’s Gate to Hell and the Legend of King Midas (Science Channel and France TV).

I’ve also worked on well-known shows like Food Unwrapped (Channel 4), The One Show (BBC 1), Fake Britain (BBC 1), Come Dine With Me (Channel 4), The Great British Bake Off (BBC 2) and Crimewatch (BBC 1).
